hello people, came back from a 3day 2night, Tripod camp which was held over the weekend at RGS. It was a great camp held there and it really was good as it did change my mindset. Heres the event which had happened in the camp.

On the first day, we reach school at about 4.05pm after a short while in band and after CLB. so then i went to the bandies there to play abit and we had to wait for Ashraf cause he was late and so when he came, we set off to RGS. there, we register and had some ice-breaking games before we had our dinner. after the dinner, we had to discuss about schools being stereotype and after that discussion, it already change my mindset about single gender school. so then after that, we had night games where we race around the school. then came the finale where w must make the tallest shampoo tower. it is there when i sacrifice my hair to make the tower. then we wash up and sleep.

on the second day, we had PT and then we set off to do our VWO where my team needs to go to a family in tampaines (dont know how to spell) which is under FAS. the story of mr sinam ,(again, dont know how to spell) a man, 32 years old who is at risk of heart failure and kidney failure. his story really touch me for that period of time and again, change my mindset of why people are poor. it maybe their fate to be poor. then after the VWO, we had amazing race which is held in town. my team went to Fareast plaza then to cityhall then to Botanic garden. we werent able to complete the race as there were much more to do when we get to every checkpoint. then we had the amazing race finale which is ""attack of the sea snake". i wouldnt talk about the game. so then we watch the movie "pay it forward" which was my 3rd time watching it. nice story as again.

final day, we had a talk by Elim Chew, founder and chairman of 77th street!!!. she was like damn cool with all the dyed hair and the lastest fashion on her. then she told us her story and how we can make a difference with our small dreams so to make it big like hers. she define leadership, "leaders are ... people who ..." i would say all as it is for the sec1. then we had area cleaning and we breakcamp.

later, the boys went to eat at long john silver and later we went home.

it was a damn tiring camp for me as i dont usually sleep so late and wake up so early.

and also today, a group of china student from BVSS sister schoolcam to our school for the twnning programme. it was nice to see them with us and how they enjoyed the moments with us.
